2018: General Motors "We See a Future" Employee Engagement Campaign

When Mary Barra, General Motors Chair and CEO, announced their vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion it brought a higher purpose to the company and its employees. But it also created a lot of questions. Is it possible? How do we get there? Will I have a job? So, we worked with GM to create a global culture transformation program to ensure each function and employee clearly understood their role. The videos featured leaders and employees providing their views on the vision, while clearly articulating the steps it will take to get there. The quotes and passion within the content were so impactful, the program extended beyond employee engagement to airing on national television, placed in investor and BOD presentations, used to revamp talent acquisition materials and leveraged on GM.com and owned social channels. In total, we created over 10 custom videos, an assortment of lifestyle and portrait photography, multiple presentation designs and a variety of printed materials for university recruitment events. Throughout the duration of the program, employee sentiment towards the future of the company increased.
